About the role
BNF-Buildings & Factories at Larsen & Toubro, responsible for estimating, tracking, and controlling project costs. The Costing Engineer prepares budgets, integrates cost data with Primavera/MS Project schedules for earned value analysis, and produces variance reports to guide corrective actions. Hyderabad, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Prepare project budget and cost baseline
- Monitor actual site costs for materials, manpower, subcontractors, plant & machinery
- Collect and track cost data from execution, procurement, billing, and stores
- Integrate cost data with schedule for earned value analysis and cash flow forecasting
- Generate cost reports and variance analysis with corrective action recommendations
