Senior Software QA Engineer

About the role

Halliburton Energy Services – Landmark Software Services builds next‑generation visualization platforms for the energy industry. The Senior Software QA Engineer ensures quality, reliability, and performance of 2D/3D graphics, GIS, and cloud‑native services by creating test plans, executing functional and performance tests, and automating workflows. Works on Agile teams in Bengaluru, on‑site at the Halliburton campus.

What you’ll do

• Validate oil and gas domain workflows and visualization pipelines
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases
• Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing
• Automate test suites and manage test environments
• Identify, document, and track defects with impact analysis
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and verify fixes
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Contribute to QA process improvements and automation initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 5–8 years software quality assurance experience
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum
• Test automation with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or similar
• Experience with 2D/3D graphics, WebGL, Three.js, Unity, or Unreal Engine
• Testing GIS, maps, spatial data, or scientific visualization
• Defect tracking using Azure DevOps or Jira
• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud‑native services
