About the role

Data Engineering team at Wolters Kluwer builds modern enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services. The Senior Data Engineer designs, develops, and optimizes scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and ETL/ELT frameworks, and supports AI and advanced analytics initiatives. Based in Pune or Chennai, hybrid work model with 8 remote days per month, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

Design and build scalable data integration solutions
Develop enterprise platforms on Microsoft Fabric and Azure
Implement ETL/ELT frameworks and data quality processes
Participate in Specification-Driven Development and create technical docs
Support CI/CD pipelines and production operations

What you’ll bring

7+ years data engineering experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server
Strong T-SQL and dimensional modeling skills
Experience with ETL/ELT architecture and data governance

Nice to have

Knowledge of Pentaho Data Integration
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
Familiarity with Power BI and Spark
