Senior GCP & Oracle Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Mattel seeks a Senior GCP & Oracle Cloud DevOps Engineer to design and manage secure, scalable infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Based in Hyderabad, India, this full-time role involves implementing multi-cloud architectures, automating deployments via Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring platform reliability. The position operates on a Hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure across GCP and OCI
• Implement reusable IaC modules using Terraform for automated provisioning
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on GKE and OKE
• Configure cloud networking, including VPCs, load balancers, and private connectivity
• Implement IAM, identity federation, and least-privilege access controls
• Configure monitoring, logging, and observability using Prometheus and Grafana
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps and security best practices

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 6–10+ years of overall IT/DevOps/Cloud Engineering experience
• 4–6+ years hands-on experience with GCP and/or OCI
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (GKE/OKE) and Docker
• Extensive experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Proven ability to design enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Strong cloud networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPC/VCN)
• Experience with cloud IAM, security best practices, and monitoring
