About the role
Technical Lead – DevOps drives CI/CD strategy for Hapag‑Lloyd’s IT Platforms. Designs, builds, and maintains scalable pipelines using Jenkins, Gitlab, Artifactory, SonarQube, Pact, Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, and AWS. Automates build, test, and deployment workflows, implements IaC, and ensures security best practices. Works closely with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and adopt new DevOps tools. Leads continuous improvement of DevOps processes and documentation.
What you’ll do
- Design, implement, maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement IaC for CI/CD environments
- Automate build, test, deployment processes
- Develop Jenkins pipeline scripts (Groovy, Java)
- Maintain development infrastructure tools
- Evaluate software updates, ensure compatibility
- Consult developers on CI/CD usage, troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with dev, QA, ops for releases
- Monitor, optimize pipeline performance
- Develop automation scripts and tools
- Research new CI/CD technologies
- Improve DevOps practices and processes
- Document CI/CD processes and configurations
- Enforce security best practices
