Senior Engineer - Flow Assurance

About the role
Wood India Consulting division seeks a Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to provide technical leadership in flow assurance and pipeline/process simulation, manage projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients and vendors in Chennai.
What you’ll do
- Lead technical work in flow assurance and pipeline simulation
- Serve as project manager and key contact for clients and vendors
- Review technical documents and ensure quality deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and lead major projects
- Develop proposals, scopes, and manage project activities
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering
- Proven experience in flow assurance and process simulation
- Proficiency with OLGA, PVTSim, PIPENET, MULTIFLASH, PIPESIM & SPS
- Mentoring junior engineers and leading QMS documentation
- Hands‑on well modelling, hydrate, sand, corrosion, and slugging
- Experience with single‑phase liquid steady‑state & surge analysis
- Knowledge of HYSYS dynamics for topside simulations
- Prepared technical proposals for flow assurance studies
