About the role
Global Center of Excellence (COE) for Technical Tendering at GE Vernova leads the hydro turbine mechanical design and tendering process. The Lead Engineer drives conceptual and detailed design of various turbine types, coordinates technical requirements across bid teams, and ensures compliance and cost competitiveness. Vadodara, India, on-site work model, relocation assistance provided.
What you’ll do
- Lead conceptual and detailed mechanical design for hydro turbines and valves
- Coordinate technical requirements with bid team members
- Define optimal technical solutions aligned with customer needs
- Prepare technical design notes and customer-facing documentation
- Conduct cost optimization and risk mitigation studies
- Support commercial operations during customer meetings
- Contribute to continuous improvement of tendering tools
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical
- 8 years hydro turbine design experience
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/NX 3D

- Strong oral and written communication
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interface with all organization levels
