Technical Consultant III Java Switch and Payment

About the role

The Technical Consultant III (PS-11-010) implements NCR's Card Management solution 'Authentic Cards' and EFT transaction processing solutions 'Authentic' and 'Terminal Handler'. Day-to-day work includes analyzing business requirements, configuring applications and interfaces, extending business logic by writing Java actions, conducting integration testing, deploying into client environments, and providing post-deployment support and incident resolution. Locations are Hyderabad and Mumbai, India.

What you’ll do

• Implement NCR's Card Management solution 'Authentic Cards' and EFT transaction processing solutions 'Authentic' and 'Terminal Handler'
• Analyze and capture business requirements and processes
• Set up test environment based on signed off business requirements
• Configure the application and various components, messages, and interfaces
• Extend business logic and rules by writing 'actions' in Java
• Conduct integration testing
• Work alongside the client team to deploy the application(s) into the client's environment
• Receive and handle raised issues post deployment, including incident recording, initial investigation, resolution, and patch production and deployment

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years' experience of Payment solution software (EFT Switch, Card Management Systems) development and deployment
• Knowledge and experience of programming in Java on real-time OLTP Systems with an Eclipse environment
• Experience extending business logic and rules by writing 'actions' in Java
• Experience with Git and GitHub code repository
• Experience with JFROG artifactory cloud
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes
• Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD
• Experience with Helm deployment and Public Cloud (GCP/AWS)
