About the role
Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS) division at ZF focuses on shaping the future of commercial transportation ecosystems. The Assistant Manager – Logistics oversees warehouse operations, material handling, dispatch monitoring, inventory accuracy, and continuous improvement, coordinating with production, SCM, suppliers, and customers. Based in Pune, MH, India, on-site work with shift rotations required.
What you’ll do
- Manage warehouse operations and material handling
- Ensure FIFO, inventory accuracy and smooth material flow to production
- Coordinate dispatch planning, ASN adherence and customer communication
- Conduct cycle counts, inventory verification and variance analysis
- Support internal and external audits (IATF/EHS/OHSAS)
- Monitor scrap/waste management and compliance
What you’ll bring
- 6-10 years logistics dispatch experience
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- SAP/ERP knowledge, Microsoft NAV a plus
- Proficient in MS Office
- Manpower management for dispatches
- Shift work availability
- Team leadership of contractual staff
