About the role
Corporate Control team at Premier Research builds and oversees the financial operations supporting biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma innovations. The Financial Accountant runs accounting and financial activities, produces monthly US GAAP management accounts, prepares profit and loss and balance sheet reports, ensures tax compliance, and supports year‑end and statutory filings. Bangalore, India, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Run accounting and financial activities for Premier Research
- Produce monthly management accounts per US GAAP
- Provide transactional detail to in‑country accountants for statutory accounts
- Handle accounting for multiple legal entities
- Prepare monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports
- Ensure tax compliance and assist year‑end statutory filings
- Perform journals, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Calculate financial transactions for cash, accruals, fixed assets and other items
What you’ll bring
- Degree in finance or related field
- CIMA or ACCA qualification desirable
- 3-5 years related experience
- Experience with computerized information systems
- Experience dealing with local tax authorities
- Works with internal and external customers/vendors
