About the role

Status Neo seeks a Junior QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts, perform API and database testing, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves creating comprehensive test plans, executing tests, analyzing results, and resolving defects. Candidates should have experience with Selenium or similar tools, API testing with Postman/SoapUI, SQL data validation, and programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. The position is full-time, based in Gurgaon, India, and requires a mid-level experience of 1–3 years.

What you’ll do

Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
Conduct API testing to ensure software interface reliability
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity
Collaborate with dev team to identify test requirements
Analyze test results, identify defects, and resolve issues
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on scripts
Improve test automation frameworks and processes
Document test processes, results, and maintain reports

What you’ll bring

Experience with Selenium, QTP, or similar automation tools
API testing knowledge using Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
SQL query writing for data validation
