About the role
Supplier Quality team at Valeo ensures automotive components meet rigorous standards. The role coordinates supplier quality activities, supports project buyers, and escalates issues to regional quality directors. Based in Ahmedabad, India, on-site work model with regular on‑site presence.
What you’ll do
- Facilitate communication between project teams and remote SQA engineers
- Monitor supplier performance and issue resolution
- Support project buyers in supplier nomination and qualification processes
- Track component qualification status and drive corrective actions
What you’ll bring
- Coordinate supplier quality activities for P1 & P0/P10 projects
- Raise external component roadblocks during QRQC
- Participate weekly in Project QRQC per platform
- Assign SQA engineers to design reviews
- Assist in FDPR status and pre‑analysis of component issues
- Escalate unresolved issues to regional quality leadership
