About the role

Engineering Excellence team (AI-Native SDLC and Developer Portal squad) builds AI‑native developer platforms that accelerate Nike engineers. The Software Engineer II designs and ships features for Pulse, the AI Control Plane, and Databricks analytics, creating plugins, integration hooks, and tooling that embed AI agents into software delivery. Based in Karnataka, India, this full‑time, on‑site role collaborates across AI, data, and developer experience groups.

What you’ll do

• Build and ship features for Pulse developer portal
• Develop interfaces and integrations for the AI Control Plane
• Create Databricks‑powered analytics tooling for engineering metrics
• Implement components of AI‑native SDLC platform
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Engage with AI/ML and developer experience communities

What you’ll bring

• 2-4 years software engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Golang, React, or JavaScript
• Exposure to AWS cloud platform and REST API design
• Familiarity with developer portal concepts like Backstage
• Experience building user‑facing or platform software
• Collaborative and curious mindset
