About the role
Systems Engineering at Qualcomm focuses on mapping AI workloads to next‑gen accelerator solutions. The Senior System AI Performance Engineer evaluates power, performance and TCO across SoC, memory and networking, using internal and external tools to run what‑if scenarios. Works cross‑functionally with Architecture, product management and software teams to align system requirements. Bangalore office, on‑site, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Map emerging AI workloads (e.g., MoE, vector databases, multimodal AI) onto Qualcomm systems
- Analyze and optimize power‑performance‑TCO trade‑offs across hardware components
- Collaborate with architecture, product management and software teams to define implementation strategies
- Develop scripts (Python) for workload mapping and performance analysis
- Communicate complex technical findings to senior stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 6+ years ASIC design/validation experience
- Master's degree and 5+ years experience
- PhD and 4+ years experience
