Sr Manager - Planning and Cost Control

About the role

Lead - Planning and Cost Control manages planning and cost control for capital projects in offshore and onshore development, integrating drilling, surface development, and related functions to ensure cost efficiency, timely execution, and optimal performance.

What you’ll do

• Develop & manage field development plans (L1-L4) sequencing drilling & surface.
• Create & maintain master schedules ensuring drilling & surface alignment.
• Monitor timeline, identify risks, delays, changes; keep milestones on schedule.
• Oversee budgets, track variances, implement corrective actions for cost efficiency.
• Conduct impact analysis on delays, adjust strategies to minimize overruns.
• Mobilize resources, support team augmentation at each project phase.
• Ensure seamless communication & integration across drilling, surface, engineering.
• Coordinate with HSE, procurement, construction, logistics, finance, JV interfaces.
• Establish progress monitoring; review contractor schedules, productivity.
• Prepare & present progress reports to senior management, highlighting risks.
• Identify & mitigate risks; analyze impact on schedule, cost, resources.
• Manage claims related to delays, assess contractor performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: senior management, JV partners, contractors.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) + Diploma Finance/Strategy
• 15-20 years planning & control in large Engineering Consulting/Oil & Gas
