About the role

AtkinsRéalis, a global engineering consultancy, drives innovative transport planning solutions for infrastructure projects worldwide. The Associate Technical Director leads strategic transport modelling, delivers high‑quality technical reports, and mentors multidisciplinary teams across locations in India and the UK. Hybrid work model with offices in Gurgaon, Bangalore, Glasgow and Sheffield, plus remote opportunities, with relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Lead transport planning projects and strategic modelling initiatives
• Develop and validate transport models using industry software
• Produce comprehensive technical reports for clients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and analysts
• Ensure quality and compliance of deliverables
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide solutions
• Utilize GIS and data analytics tools for transport analysis

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years transport planning experience
• Proficiency with VISUM, CUBE, EMME, SATURN, DIADEM

• Strategic modelling expertise
• Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills
• Technical report writing
• Team leadership and mentorship
• GIS and database analysis
• Programming in Python, PowerBI, Excel‑VBA, R
