Manager, Technology - Network Engineering Operations

About the role

The Manager, Technology - Network Engineering Operations leads India-based network engineering teams responsible for enterprise routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, wireless infrastructure, store network operations, and network reliability engineering. Day-to-day work combines technical leadership, operational governance, engineering execution, automation enablement, and people management, including active participation in engineering escalations, architecture reviews, project governance, budgeting, network reliability initiatives, automation discussions, and major incident management. The role is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India and operates on a hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead India-based network engineering teams across enterprise routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, wireless infrastructure, store network operations, and network reliability engineering
• Provide technical leadership, operational governance, engineering execution, automation enablement, and people management.
• Actively participate in engineering escalations, architecture reviews, and project governance.
• Drive budgeting activities and network reliability initiatives.
• Lead automation discussions and major incident management.
• Drive team development and operational maturity.
• Exercise strong operational judgment and incident leadership capability.
• Develop high-performing engineering teams.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering or network operations experience.
• Enterprise routing and switching expertise.
• Firewalls and network security expertise.
• VPNs expertise.
• Wireless infrastructure expertise.
• Load balancing expertise.
• Enterprise network monitoring and observability platforms expertise.
