About the role
Fiserv’s Credit Risk Organization seeks a Credit Risk Analyst to manage risk across the lifecycle of its fintech products and services. Based in Thane, India, this on-site role involves managing high-risk merchant portfolios, preparing executive reporting, and driving risk mitigation strategies. The analyst acts as a team lead and collaborates with internal stakeholders to prevent credit losses. This position requires strong financial analysis and business judgment skills.
What you’ll do
- Manage a portfolio of merchant accounts in high-risk and high-volume segments within the middle market and enterprise space.
- Prepare and present reporting for senior leaders focusing on key merchant/industry KPIs including liquidity, leverage, and regulatory risks.
- Determine appropriate risk mitigation strategies for problematic accounts such as collateral actions and contract restructurings.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive actions forward and prevent/mitigate credit losses.
- Assist the Credit Director with merchant escalations and adverse actions, acting as team lead in their absence.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related quantitative discipline.
- 3+ years of proven credit risk experience in middle market/corporate bank lending, merchant acquiring risk, or asset based lending.
- Strong financial analysis skills with an emphasis on reading Business Financial Statements.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent negotiation and selling skills.
