About the role

Software Engineering team at S&P Global builds cloud‑based valuation and assessment platforms for private markets. The Associate Director leads architecture and design, mentors a global dev team, and drives delivery of high‑quality, scalable services. Based in Noida with on‑site work, the role offers hybrid collaboration across geographies and access to cutting‑edge AI productivity tools.

What you’ll do

• Lead system architecture and design discussions
• Develop and maintain cloud‑based applications for private valuations
• Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and global stakeholders
• Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and static analysis
• Drive agile product development across SDLC phases
• Mentor and coordinate distributed development teams
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years software engineering experience
• Strong Java development
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies
• Design and implementation of cloud applications, preferably AWS
• Experience building scalable, high‑performance systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
