About the role
Photon Group seeks an experienced Automation Tester to lead end-to-end test strategy using Playwright or Cypress with TypeScript/JavaScript. The role involves designing automated scripts, integrating CI/CD pipelines, ensuring accessibility and performance, and providing on-call support. Candidates should have 5-6 years in quality engineering, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with BDD, Jenkins, and cloud environments.
What you’ll do
- Translate business requirements into test strategy
- Design and maintain automated test scripts
- Provide on-call support for production
- Apply BDD and CI/CD practices
- Measure and report QE metrics
- Conduct accessibility testing
- Collaborate on process improvements
What you’ll bring
- 5-6 years experience in software testing
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright or Cypress
- Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, BDD
Nice to have
- API and DB automation experience
- Mobile testing and automation
- Cloud certification (AWS/Azure)
