Principal .Net Engineer

About the role

Eurofins IT Solutions in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India is hiring a Principal .Net Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable full stack applications for the Eurofins Quality Management System (eQMS) used by scientists, engineers, and technicians. Day-to-day work includes building Angular and .NET Core web applications, designing Azure Cosmos DB data models, developing REST APIs and microservices, and supporting Azure Data Factory pipelines and enterprise data migration. The role reports to an Engineering Manager, follows a hybrid model with 3 days work-from-office (cab facility provided), and involves collaboration with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Angular, .NET Core, Web API, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern UI development practices.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable backend services using .NET Core, REST APIs, microservices principles, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Design and optimize Cosmos DB data models, queries, partitioning strategies, and performance patterns for enterprise-scale applications.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality application features.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
• Support responsibilities related to Azure Data Factory pipelines, data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and integration activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and promote clean code, secure development, and maintainable architecture practices.

What you’ll bring

• MCA or Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering full stack application development using Angular, .NET Core, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory and enterprise data migration activities.
• Strong hands-on experience in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web application development.
• Strong backend development experience using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, RESTful services, and microservices-based architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB, including data modelling, indexing, partitioning, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Good understanding of SQL, NoSQL databases, cloud-native application design, integration patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments with strong collaboration across engineering, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
