Principal Product Manager

About the role

RSA Security seeks a Principal Product Manager in Bangalore, India, to lead the strategy and roadmap for RSA ID Plus, its unified identity platform. The role involves defining product vision, managing the lifecycle from concept to release, and collaborating with engineering to deliver enterprise-grade SaaS and on-premises solutions. This is an on-site position focused on driving innovation in access management.

What you’ll do

• Define winning plans balancing long-term strategy with short-term customer needs
• Manage entire product lifecycle including roadmap execution and prioritization
• Partner with engineering on design tradeoffs and release planning
• Engage directly with customers and field teams to gather insights
• Ensure alignment across the ID Plus suite and broader security initiatives
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on messaging and go-to-market plans

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years of product management experience building enterprise-grade software
• Deep subject matter expertise in Identity & Access Management principles
• Experience with authentication standards like NIST SP800-63, FIDO2, X.509
• Knowledge of federation and authorization protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; MBA a plus
• Proven leadership leading through influence across cross-functional teams
• Strong technical aptitude for architectural conversations with engineers
• Hands-on experience as a product owner within Agile SAFe methodologies
