About the role
Customer Success - Delivery team at Appian builds custom process automation solutions on the Appian platform to accelerate digital transformation for commercial clients. The Senior Consultant leads end‑to‑end projects, designing relational data models, developing REST/SOAP APIs, and mentoring junior consultants in an agile environment. Based in Chennai, the role requires on‑site presence five days a week to foster collaboration and culture.
What you’ll do
- Lead project lifecycle from requirements to deployment
- Design and implement relational data models
- Develop and test APIs for system integration
- Mentor and coach junior consultants
- Collaborate with client technical teams and business users
- Drive adoption and empower clients to build self‑sufficient applications
- Ensure quality through test‑driven development and CI/CD
- Manage client expectations and deliver on schedule
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years overall IT experience
- 5+ years hands‑on Appian technical experience
- B.S./B.A. in Engineering, CS, or related field
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and AWS
- Agile methodology experience (pair programming, sprints)
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
