Application Development & Support Specialist - Appsheet Developer

About the role

Vertiv seeks an Application Development & Support Specialist in Pune, India, to design and maintain custom no-code mobile and web applications using Google AppSheet. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to convert requirements into functional apps, integrating data sources like SQL and Excel, and automating workflows. This is an on-site position focused on streamlining business processes through application development and support.

What you’ll do

• Designs, builds, and maintains custom no-code mobile and web applications using Google AppSheet
• Collaborates with stakeholders to convert requirements into functional, user-friendly apps
• Integrates data sources such as Google Sheets, Excel, SQL, and BigQuery
• Creates automated workflows including email notifications and report generation
• Troubleshoots, debugs, and optimizes app performance
• Creates technical documentation and provides training/support to end-users

What you’ll bring

• 3–6 years of experience in app development, specifically with AppSheet
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Drive)
• Strong understanding of database structure and SQL
• Experience with Google Apps Script for customization

Nice to have

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficiency with data analysis, data visualization, and reporting tools
• Skilled with Microsoft Office and specifically Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with process design, design thinking, and lean principles
