Design Engineer / Senior Design Engineer

About the role
Medical Device Engineering team at Stryker focuses on sustaining legacy product designs and driving value improvements. The Design Engineer leads design and development of solutions, collaborates across Quality, Regulatory and Operations, and implements CAD changes using Creo and SolidWorks. Hybrid work model in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India with occasional travel (10%).
What you’ll do
- Lead design and development of legacy product solutions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across time zones
- Implement drawing and model changes in CAD
- Coordinate with manufacturers on change implementations
- Document part marking exemptions and manage change processes
- Update project status and support Engineering Change Requests
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar with 2-4 years experience
- Prior experience in medical devices & UDI part marking projects
- Experience using Creo, SolidWorks, and Windchill
- Understanding of change management process
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Teamcenter and UG NX
- Basic knowledge of Power BI
