About the role

Consulting Services at Microsoft delivers end‑to‑end technology solutions for enterprise customers. The Consultant works with architects and senior consultants to design and implement full‑stack applications, building .NET APIs, front‑end components, and AI‑enabled workflows using Python and Azure services. Role involves estimating effort, writing code, testing, code reviews, and supporting CI/CD deployments across Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Noida with an on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
• Develop full‑stack features end‑to‑end, including backend services and UI components
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality
• Deploy applications via CI/CD pipelines and monitor performance and reliability
• Integrate AI components, prompt engineering, and vector search workflows
• Collaborate with project leads and customers to articulate technical value
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and support escalations
• Contribute to shared frameworks and best‑practice accelerators

What you’ll bring

• 4-10 years professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Hands‑on experience with .NET (C#) and Web APIs
• Experience with Node.js and front‑end frameworks such as Angular or React
• Proficiency in Python for AI workflow implementation
• Experience with Azure services including SQL, Cosmos DB, Functions, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools like Semantic Kernel or LangChain
