Senior Associate Consultant

About the role

Makse Group is a consulting firm that empowers clients with Workday solutions. The Senior Associate Consultant – Workday Financials will advise clients on finance and accounting processes, leveraging deep Workday expertise to design, implement, and optimize solutions. Responsibilities include supporting implementation, customizing solutions, building stakeholder relationships, documenting processes, mentoring junior consultants, troubleshooting issues, and managing tasks within project teams. Candidates should have strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills, experience in finance, accounting, or technology consulting, and a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Commerce/Accounting, Information Systems, or related fields. Workday experience is preferred, and CA/CPA credentials are a plus. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Gurgaon, India, with a start date of May 12 2025.

What you’ll do

• Utilize expertise in Workday to support clients with implementation and optimization of finance and accounting processes.
• Design and execute customized solutions that meet client-specific requirements while aligning with industry best practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, offering strategic insights to drive business performance improvements.
• Document current and proposed processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and system alignment with client goals.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to project management, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Manage tasks and stakeholder expectations on smaller initiatives or as part of larger project teams using firm-provided tools.

What you’ll bring

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior executives and client teams.
• Proven ability to solve problems, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address client needs.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Background in finance, accounting, or technology consulting, with experience in Workday preferred.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Commerce/Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. CA and/or CPA a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
