Fire Coordinator

About the role

JLL seeks a Fire Coordinator to ensure comprehensive fire safety management across the DLF Cyber City portfolio in Gurugram. The role involves maintaining regulatory compliance, overseeing fire system maintenance, and coordinating emergency response protocols. This is an on-site position requiring adherence to statutory requirements and safety standards.

What you’ll do

• Ensure compliance with NBC, local regulations, and statutory requirements
• Oversee maintenance of fire alarms, sprinklers, and extinguishers
• Develop and implement fire emergency response and evacuation plans
• Conduct fire drills and train staff on safety procedures
• Perform regular fire risk assessments and hazard identification
• Maintain fire safety records, logs, and compliance registers
• Liaise with local fire departments and regulatory bodies
• Prepare monthly fire safety compliance reports for management

What you’ll bring

• Knowledge of National Building Code (NBC) and local fire regulations
• Experience with NFPA standards and statutory approvals
• Ability to manage preventive and corrective maintenance of fire systems
• Skill in conducting fire risk assessments and audits

Nice to have

• Experience coordinating fire drills and training Emergency Response Teams
• Familiarity with fire control panels and emergency lighting systems
• Competency in preparing compliance reports and documentation
• Understanding of MEP plans regarding fire safety compliance
