Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

Energy Exemplar is a global software company empowering transformative energy decisions through its PLEXOS®, Aurora, and Adapt2 modeling and simulation platforms. As a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) on the India Development team, you will report to the Software Engineering Manager and deliver quality, performant software by studying systems flow, data usage, and problem areas, then following the software development lifecycle to build solutions for diverse customer use cases. The role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka or Pune, Maharashtra, India.

What you’ll do

• Deliver quality and performant software and design to handle the vast array of use cases that customers have today
• Develop software solutions by learning information needs, discussing with managers, studying systems flow and data usage
• Find problem areas and come up with solutions
• Follow the software development lifecycle
• Work effectively across team boundaries

What you’ll bring

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in product development
• Strong knowledge in OOPS with .Net, C# or relevant technologies with SQL Server or any RDBMS
• Hands-on experience in design and development on UI front end technologies
• Hands-on experience with UNIT testing frameworks
• Good exposure to web application development using HTML 5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript
• Experience in development of Angular 2+, VueJS or React
• Strong logical, analytics and problem-solving skills
• Strong in .NET, C#, data structures & algorithms, design patterns, APIs, complex SQL queries, cloud & frontend technologies
