About the role

Software Development team at S&P Global Market Intelligence builds AI-augmented enterprise platforms. The Lead Software Development Engineer II designs and delivers high‑performance Java microservices, containerized applications, and integrates GenAI tools to accelerate development velocity. Based in Noida, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across global teams.

What you’ll do

• Deliver end‑to‑end features using modern Java stacks
• Build and scale APIs (REST/GRPC, OData, GraphQL) and event‑driven microservices
• Design and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB
• Embed GenAI and LLM capabilities into workflows and products
• Drive AI‑augmented development practices including prompt engineering and LLM‑assisted testing
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and observability using GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk
• Guide innovation in cloud‑native federated data architectures and data contracts

What you’ll bring

• 13-16 years full‑stack development experience
• Strong Java and cloud‑native development expertise
• Experience integrating LLM APIs and AI‑enhanced developer tools
• Deep knowledge of DevSecOps, scalable architecture, and performance tuning
• Mentoring and engineering best‑practice leadership
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
