About the role

JLL seeks an Assistant Manager in Property Management to lead facilities operations and engineering best practices for corporate portfolios in Gurugram. The role involves managing vendor contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing processes, and driving sustainability initiatives while serving as the primary liaison for tenants and landlords. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring significant experience in property management.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and support delivery of facilities management services from the landlord.
  • Lead contact for operational management of all site-based FM services and service quality.
  • Ensure statutory and corporate H&S standards are applied and adhered to in FM service delivery.
  • Manage vendor contracts and maximize diverse vendor spending.
  • Inspect properties and equipment to assess service requirements and recommend enhancements.
  • Support lease administration process and act as primary contact for tenant service requests.
  • Monitor and maintain comprehensive service monitoring frameworks and performance dashboards.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks across the facilities portfolio.

What you’ll bring

  • Graduation with 5 years or Diploma with 7 years’ experience in managing engineering functions in property and facility management.
  • Engineering background with thorough knowledge in compliance, safety, and engineering operations in commercial buildings.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience of managing a corporate property portfolio.

Nice to have

  • Excellent Excel skills and dashboard/program management proficiency to track activities.
  • Good understanding of program management including ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable commitment to achieving customer service excellence.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Persuasive communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience of undertaking and reviewing elemental building condition surveys within large, occupied buildings.
