Public Policy Senior Manager, APAC

About the role

One Legal team at Equinix drives public policy strategy for the company’s digital infrastructure business across Asia Pacific. The Senior Manager leads policy research, analysis and drafting, engages internal leaders and external government officials, and builds cross‑functional alignment on sustainability, cybersecurity, and regulatory issues. Remote, India, remote work model, with occasional travel to regional offices.

What you’ll do

• Track and analyze emerging public policy issues and develop internal and external positions
• Coordinate with senior leadership to shape the regional policy agenda
• Support country Managing Directors with research, briefing materials and policy tracking
• Develop relationships with global and regional functions to ensure cross‑functional alignment
• Engage with policymakers, regulators and trade associations to advocate Equinix’s interests
• Lead drafting of policy briefs, briefing notes, internal memos and research syntheses
• Create educational resources and communication materials on policy initiatives
• Participate in public consultations and government submissions

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years experience in government relations or public policy
• Bachelor's degree required; law or master's a plus
• Expertise in technology, cybersecurity, sustainability, procurement and tax policy
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to synthesize complex regulatory developments
• Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship building
• High integrity, initiative and teamwork
