About the role
Power Plant Site Engineering Support team at Quest Global designs and engineers static equipment for gas‑based power plants, including inlet, exhaust, fire protection, HVAC, skids and turbine bases. The Engineer provides technical solutions, supports NCR/ER processes, creates field modification instructions, and coordinates with suppliers and site teams during commissioning. Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad – On-site, 40‑hour week.
What you’ll do
- Design and engineer static equipment systems for power plants
- Support NCR, ER and supplier deviation processes during installation and commissioning
- Create Field Modification Instructions and Mod‑Kits to resolve site issues
- Generate reports and CAPA actions to improve quality KPIs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and technical leaders
What you’ll bring
- Mechanical engineering degree or masters
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Gas‑based power plant experience, preferably GE Vernova turbines
- Knowledge of ANSI, ASME, AMCA, ASHRAE codes
- Proficiency in design methods and tools
