About the role

Custom CPU Power & Performance team at Qualcomm builds and validates custom CPU platforms. The Lab Technician assembles, flashes firmware, and deploys test systems, troubleshoots boot and connectivity issues, and documents equipment repairs. Bangalore, India, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote tasks for inventory management.

What you’ll do

Assemble and flash firmware on test benches
Maintain and repair lab equipment
Debug system boot and connectivity issues
Track inventory and asset management
Coordinate with Custom CPU engineers to execute test plans
Document troubleshooting steps and root cause analyses
Communicate status and obstacles across teams
Use Jira for issue and project tracking

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
4+ years software engineering or related experience
2+ years programming in C, C++, Java, or Python

Nice to have

Master's degree with 3+ years experience
PhD with 2+ years experience
