About the role

Cytel seeks an Associate Project Accountant in India to manage project financial operations remotely. The role involves setting up projects, handling invoicing, and maintaining accounting trackers. This position supports the finance team with daily transactional accuracy.

What you’ll do

Set up new projects and contracts in accounting system
Adjust projects as change orders are received
Manage resource assignments and timesheet modifications
Maintain contract, milestone, and invoicing trackers
Monitor Project Accounting Ticketing system and assign tickets
Track and report missing time sheets weekly
Compile and post Time Spent Report weekly
Prepare invoicing packages for internal review and approval

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
2 years of prior experience in project set-up or invoicing
Prior use of accounting software
Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills
