About the role
Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Hybrid Cloud team drives the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for Green Lake, HPE's next-generation cloud platform. This Principal Cloud Developer leads development projects from requirements to execution, debugging distributed filesystems and mentoring teams to ensure high-quality deliveries in Hyderabad. The role is onsite with a primary expectation of working from an HPE office.
What you’ll do
- Lead development projects from requirements phase to execution phase
- Debug issues in distribution filesystems
- Mentor a team and lead them towards high-quality project deliveries
- Learn new open-source projects and contribute to them
What you’ll bring
- 9+ years of total experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferably B.Tech / B.E)
- Experience in distributed systems
- Ability to code in C/C++/Java/Golang
- Experience in highly scalable multi-threaded systems
Nice to have
- Understanding of POSIX compliance
- Understanding of S3 compliance
- Debugging issues in distribution filesystems
- Understanding concurrency and failover scenarios
