About the role
The Sales Manager - New Car - Branch role sits within Axis Bank's Retail Lending Auto Loan department (RL - Wheels), which offers auto loans to customers across India. Based in Mumbai, the manager represents the bank on the frontline, onboarding new auto loan customers and exploring additional funding for existing auto customers. Day-to-day work involves sourcing new and used auto business with the right channel mix, meeting volume and yield targets, ensuring compliance and risk controls, liaising with cross-functional teams, and managing channel partners and branch relationships to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Ensure achievement of volume targets for the Auto loans business with the right mix of New and Used, required channel mix, yield, and fee, and higher throughput from each off-roll resource
- Drive PDD collection and ensure thresholds are not breached
- Ensure risk and compliance through quality customer sourcing and timely, satisfactory closure of all regulatory points
- Meet existing Auto customers to understand repeat funding requirements and onboard new-to-bank Auto customers to drive volumes
- Ensure end-to-end processing of cases by liaising with cross-functional departments
- Establish and enhance relationships with branches and channel partners, pitching liability relationships and securing SI from existing customers and opening new accounts
- Adopt the Siddhi application to enhance sales team efficiency and improve PSL contribution in the portfolio
- Oversee the customer journey with seamless processing, offer banking solutions, ensure best-in-class TAT, and increase customer retention, engagement, NPS, and satisfaction
What you’ll bring

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong sales orientation
- Skill in managing a team efficiently and productively
- Strong risk and compliance mindset
- Adept communication skills in English and local language
- Ability to align with the bank's objectives and new initiatives
- Competence in managing within a dynamic, priority-setting environment
