Familiarity with PDM/PLM workflows, automation systems, and basic standards (ISO, ANSI, CE) is required. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and technical writing skills are essential. The position is full‑time, on‑site in Bangalore, India, with a focus on delivering high‑quality, compliant designs for global logistics solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Design conveyor systems, ASRS, and material handling equipment.
  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks with GD&T.
  • Perform mechanical calculations and component selection.
  • Collaborate with electrical, controls, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
  • Support prototype development, assembly, and testing.
  • Lead design reviews, DFMEA, and product improvement initiatives.
  • Document BOMs, design specs, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and design codes.
  • Troubleshoot and modify equipment, producing red‑line drawings.
  • Provide quality oversight and refine technical documentation.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1+ year experience designing conveyor or material handling systems.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling and drafting.
  • Strong GD&T and tolerance analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (welding, machining).
  • Familiarity with PDM/PLM workflows and automation systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
