About the role
SAP Data & Migration Team at Metyis builds AI‑assisted migration solutions to move SAP data assets to modern cloud platforms. The SAP Data Migration Architect leads complex migration architecture, defines technical roadmaps, and guides multidisciplinary teams including SAP, Data Engineering, BI, and AI developers. Based in Bangalore with a hybrid work model, the role drives migration strategy, AI tool integration, and governance for large‑scale SAP BW/HANA projects.
What you’ll do
- Define migration approach and technical roadmap
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across SAP, Data Engineering, BI, and AI
- Integrate AI‑assisted migration tooling with SAP metadata
- Ensure governance, security, and auditability of migrated assets
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align reporting and KPI requirements
- Drive technical excellence and delivery quality
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years SAP architecture experience
- Deep knowledge of SAP BW, SAP HANA, ABAP
- Proven leadership of SAP migration programs
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, Fabric)
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted migration tools
