Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

Cloud Engineering team at Kyndryl drives enterprise cloud transformation on Google Cloud Platform. The Senior Cloud Engineer designs scalable, secure GCP solutions, leads IaC deployments, and provides L3 support while establishing governance and best practices. Works hybrid in Chennai with 3 days onsite, collaborating with architects, delivery teams, and customers to deliver high‑impact cloud projects.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement GCP native, hybrid, and multi‑cloud solutions
• Lead Terraform‑based deployments and cloud migrations
• Provide L3 incident resolution and root‑cause analysis
• Establish monitoring, SLAs, runbooks, and governance frameworks
• Implement IAM, network security, encryption, and zero‑trust architectures
• Advise architects and customers through workshops and solution reviews
• Support pre‑sales estimations and proposal development
• Mentor engineers and define SOPs and playbooks
