Lead Architect

About the role

Lead Architect for Lennox’s CMDB team, driving enterprise‑scale ServiceNow CMDB architecture, data model, and governance. Own the CMDB structure, quality, and adoption across Incident, Change, Problem, Vulnerability Response, Asset Management, and Service Portfolio processes. Based in Chennai, India, the role is on‑site with a focus on collaboration with Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams.

What you’ll do

• Own CMDB architecture, data model, and governance
• Define validation rules, health checks, and KPIs
• Drive onboarding coverage across servers, network devices, end‑user devices, cloud resources, applications, and SaaS
• Enable CMDB usage in Incident, Change, Problem, VR, Asset Management, and Service Portfolio
• Promote automation for CI discovery, onboarding, updates, reconciliation, and decommissioning
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Applications, Cloud, Security, and Enterprise Architecture teams
• Define CMDB operating model, RACI, health reviews, and maturity roadmap

What you’ll bring

• 8–12+ years ServiceNow experience
• Strong focus on CMDB and CSDM
• Enterprise‑scale CMDB adoption
• ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, SAM dependencies
• Regulated or audit‑aware environment experience
• Stakeholder management and communication
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS‑ITSM/ITOM, CSDM Practitioner)
