About the role

Colliers International UK seeks an experienced MEP/C&I/Safety/Planning & Documentation Coordinator to oversee fit‑out projects in Bengaluru. The role blends technical MEP coordination, safety compliance, and project documentation, ensuring seamless collaboration between contractors, consultants, and clients. Candidates will review drawings, manage shop drawings and submittals, coordinate utilities, and conduct safety audits and training. They will also develop and monitor project schedules, risk registers, and baseline plans, while maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders. The position requires strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving, and the ability to drive projects to successful completion within agreed timelines and quality standards.

What you’ll do

Review MEP drawings and schedules.
Coordinate electro‑mechanical activities on site.
Manage shop drawings, submittals, and inspections.
Engage authorities for temporary utilities.
Ensure civil obstruction clearance for MEP.
Coordinate between MEP and civil drawings.
Attend meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
Monitor daily work and plan.
Identify subcontractors and suppliers.
Prepare IR, IIR for consultant approval.
Attend authority inspections and commissioning.
Coordinate with architect for design development.
Manage stakeholder communication and progress.
Conduct EHS audits and safety training.
Prepare safety reports and HIRA.
Maintain waste management plan.
Plan and monitor project schedules.
Prepare baseline and micro schedules.
Update risk register.
Coordinate logistics and material delivery.

What you’ll bring

B.E/B.Tech in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
2‑12 years of MEP fit‑out experience.
Proven ability to coordinate electro‑mechanical activities on site.
Skilled in reviewing shop drawings, submittals, and construction details.
Experience engaging authorities for temporary utilities and project close‑out.
