ML Engineer (Data Scientist)

About the role

Maino.ai seeks an experienced ML Engineer/Data Scientist to build and scale AI-driven marketing solutions. The role focuses on designing production-ready NLP pipelines, integrating large language models, and optimizing conversational retrieval systems. Candidates will develop scalable data pipelines, experiment with prompt engineering, and monitor system performance through A/B testing. The position requires strong Python skills, expertise in TensorFlow/PyTorch, and knowledge of LLM frameworks such as OpenAI and Hugging Face. Experience with cloud deployment, container orchestration, and ethical AI practices is highly valued. The engineer will collaborate across teams to deliver reliable, privacy‑compliant solutions that drive marketing ROI.

What you’ll do

• Build scalable data pipelines for large document corpora
• Research and apply prompt engineering and few‑shot learning
• Collaborate with engineering teams
• Conduct A/B testing and KPI monitoring
• Iterate system performance improvements
• Ensure data privacy, ethical AI, and security compliance

What you’ll bring

• Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers, LangChain
• Deep understanding of NLP: tokenization, embeddings, fine‑tuning
• Experience designing APIs and deploying AI models in production
• Strong grasp of ML fundamentals and evaluation metrics for conversational AI
• Skilled in LLMs and OpenAI/Hugging Face APIs (1+ year)
• Excellent problem‑solving and scalable solution design

Nice to have

• Deploy ML models on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Use Docker, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration tools
• Build multimodal conversational systems
