About the role
CDK Global Product Manager role based in Hyderabad, India, supporting an existing product strategy by shaping individual product requirements and driving the full product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life. Day-to-day work includes defining user personas and stories, owning or assisting with Epic development, grooming the backlog with Scrum Masters and agile teams, and partnering with R&D and product marketing to translate product vision into differentiated customer outcomes. The position operates with moderate supervision, focuses on existing products with limited net-new work, and requires up to 25% travel.
What you’ll do
- Assist in shaping individual product requirements in support of an existing product strategy
- Drive the full product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life, owning relevant, specific product feature requirements with limited interaction on net-new products
- Ensure user personas and product requirements are defined and reflected in user stories, and own or assist in Epic development
- Work with the Scrum Master and agile team on backlog grooming and ensure timely decision-making on product requirement trade-offs
- Translate defined product vision and Features (Epics) into user stories based on dealer/customer feedback and user/buyer persona analysis
- Manage the backlog for sprint teams, partnering with R&D and the Scrum Master on prioritization across definition, beta, showcase, and retrospective
- Collaborate with other CDK product managers and product marketing to articulate the value proposition for user stories and Features (Epics)
- Understand key product success metrics (e.g., adoption, profitability, NPS, market share growth) and how they relate to user stories and Features (Epics)
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
- 2+ years of Product Owner or Product Management and/or equivalent experience in Enterprise SaaS, full lifecycle management
- Experience in Agile software/DevOps methodologies and working with globally distributed teams
- Experience creating user stories and working with R&D and other product managers to drive end-to-end execution of product releases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including facilitating customer communications
- Strong technical aptitude to work with R&D and translate business requirements into actionable user stories
- Strong track record of product execution in a dynamic environment
- Ability to listen, consider others’ points of view, collaborate, and build consensus across cross-functional areas
