About the role
AECOM's Building Engineering team seeks a Senior Engineer-HVAC(MEP) to lead HVAC system design for complex commercial, residential, and data center projects. The role involves energy modeling, technical specification preparation, and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with global offices. This hybrid position is based in Gurugram, Haryana, India.
What you’ll do
- Leads HVAC system design for complex projects
- Conducts energy modeling and analysis
- Performs quality control review of design calculations
- Prepares technical specification sections
- Mentors junior engineers and provides guidance
- Collaborates with architects and other disciplines
- Ensures compliance with building codes and regulations
- Participates in client meetings and presentations
What you’ll bring
- Master of Engineering degree or equivalent
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar BIM tools
- Strong knowledge of energy modeling software
Nice to have
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Well versed with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards
