About the role
At ABB Motion in Bangalore, India, the Associate Project Manager supports the Service Operations Manager in leading small, low-complexity projects within the Motion business. Day-to-day, you will ensure activities follow procedures, regulations, standards, and targets; define and apply basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively; lead the allocated project team; monitor progress, resource utilization, and project financials; manage project risk; and drive formal acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore-Nelmangala with approximately 20% travel.
What you’ll do
- Lead the execution of small projects with low complexity
- Ensure all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets
- Define and apply basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively
- Lead the project team allocated to the project
- Monitor and control project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials
- Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risk, and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued
- Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract
What you’ll bring
- Full-time BE or B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics
- 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience
- Experience in the Electrical and Automation Industry
