About the role
Medtronic Cybersecurity team safeguards patient data and medical device systems worldwide. The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist leads risk management, GRC framework implementation, and regulatory compliance initiatives, collaborating with IT, legal, and product security groups. Based in Nanakramguda, Hyderabad, India, this role operates on-site with occasional travel for audits and stakeholder meetings.
What you’ll do
- Define requirements for business continuity, operations security, cryptography, and counter‑espionage
- Assess and mitigate system security threats throughout the program lifecycle
- Validate security requirements and perform system certification and accreditation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into product development
- Drive GRC platform improvements through workflow automation and tool integration
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical device cybersecurity regulations
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years IT experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, MCA, or MSc
- 7+ years cybersecurity GRC experience in medical device or healthcare
- 5+ years risk management, including FAIR model assessments
- 3+ years designing and implementing risk management programs
- Proficiency with GRC tools such as ServiceNow, LogicGate, or OneTrust
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443
- Experience with cloud, network, and endpoint security
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
