About the role

AWS Infrastructure Services team designs, plans, delivers and operates AWS global infrastructure. The Logistics Specialist manages inventory, shipment and documentation processes, collaborates with suppliers, procurement and data‑center technicians to ensure parts flow and compliance, and maintains metrics dashboards. Mumbai, MH, IND, onsite (potential for other India locations).

What you’ll do

• Manage data‑center public and confidential documentation and communications
• Align with financial and inventory management teams
• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
• Track inventory locations and movement, create optimization plans
• Support 24/7 operations by handling inbound/outbound shipments and equipment
• Maintain and publish metrics dashboards and reports
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks
• Assist with scheduling deliveries and pick‑ups

What you’ll bring

• Logistics professional supporting inventory cycle counts, shipments, stock control and reverse logistics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Fluent in English (read, write, speak)

Nice to have

• Able to lift loads up to 49 lb for short distances
• Experience in logistics
