About the role

Indirect Tax Global Trade team at EY helps clients navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimize cross‑border transactions. The Consultant prepares and files tax returns, drafts submissions, represents clients before authorities, and advises on inbound/outbound structuring for employee mobility. Based in Mumbai with an on‑site work model, the role involves collaborating with tax professionals and leveraging EY’s tools to deliver high‑quality tax solutions.

What you’ll do

• Conduct client engagements professionally and per contract terms
• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities
• Advise on inbound/outbound structuring for employee mobility
• Utilize electronic working papers and EY tax software for research
• Analyze data to produce accurate tax advisory and compliance products
• Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure timely delivery of services
• Maintain confidentiality and high‑quality work standards

What you’ll bring

• Certified CA
• 0-1 year relevant experience
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and numerical ability
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Team player with self‑starter attitude
• Good time management skills
