Area Sales Manager Deputy Manager

About the role

Paytm's Oil and Gas vertical Focused Offline payment solution team seeks an Area Sales Manager (Deputy Manager) in Vaishali, Uttar Pradesh to drive EDC machine sales and onboard merchants across multiple locations. Day-to-day, you will build and lead a team, set goals, delegate tasks, oversee daily operations, monitor performance metrics, coach and motivate members, resolve merchant queries, and maintain relationships with PSU and oil marketing companies. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring graduation or post-graduation.

What you’ll do

• Drive swiping device sales in the assigned area
• Onboard new merchants for offline solutions and service existing merchants
• Maintain good relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing companies
• Resolve merchant queries and drive overall merchant engagement
• Set clear team goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines
• Oversee day-to-day operations and monitor team performance and metrics
• Discover training needs, provide coaching, and listen to feedback to resolve issues or conflicts
• Recognize high performance, reward accomplishments, and encourage creativity and risk-taking
